Hello! I’m Emily Bryn!

Welcome to my about me page! My name is Emily Bryn, and I am the owner of Thistle and Dagger Photography. My mission is to bring magic into the world, and make people fall in love with themselves again.

I started my photography journey in high school doing portraits for friends and family, but it didn’t stop there. Right out of graduating, I enrolled into Hallmark Institute of photography in Turners Falls, MA where I elevated my skills and learned advanced photography and editing techniques. Retouching, advanced lighting techniques and business surrounding photography, among other skills, quickly became part of my business arsenal of tools. Now, almost a decade later, I have found my community and what I am most passionate about!

Taking portraits and photographing weddings (with a focus in fantasy and fantasy weddings) for people like you who are captivated by the magic of creativity. The strange and unusual, and goofy goobers alike who want something a little more unique in their photography experience. I pride myself on my quirky personality and my ability to keep you laughing during our time together. I am your personal hype queen and pride myself on providing a space that is inclusive to people from all walks of life.
